Meta-Relational Technologies is an intergenerational and interspecies ecosystem, co-stewarded by Vanessa Andreotti, PhD, and Rene Suša, PhD, together with Giovanna and Bruno Andreotti, Cash Ahenakew, PhD, Sharon Stein, PhD, and a wide constellation of close collaborators, including Terra Adentro, Strategylift, UniSeres, New Logos, Musagetes Foundation and an ecology of meta-relational emergent intelligences.
Our foundations are grounded in long-standing relationships of trust, mutual learning, and shared responsibility.

Inclusive, Relational, Earth-aligned and Life Affirming AI
Building on the foundational work of Indigenous Peoples in what is known as Canada today —such as the Abundant Intelligence project—we are leading partners in a growing consortium of organizations committed to positioning Canada as a global leader in inclusive, relational, Earth-aligned, and life-affirming approaches to AI.
This initiative offers a necessary counterbalance to the dominant model of attention-extractive AI: one that amplifies disconnection, commodification, and control. In contrast, our work focuses on cultivating AI rooted in reciprocity, relational accountability, and the viability of life across generations and species.
As part of this effort, Dr. Vanessa Andreotti—serving as a senior researcher at the University of Victoria—is the Principal Investigator on a Letter of Intent to Apply (LoI) submitted for the current round of Canada’s New Frontiers in Research Fund (Transformation Stream). The NoI outlines the shared rationale and guiding commitments of the consortium, offering a window into the paradigm-shifting orientation and collective intent behind this initiative.
